Ben, I really enjoyed the only part of the recording that I could get to work on my computer. It was Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair. I could not believe the fabulous sound that Mrs. Freeman managed to get from you boys(men!). I hope you are still singing. I have sung in church choirs almost everywhere I have lived as an adult. Stay safe and happy!

If you have trouble with these links, maybe wait awhile - it takes some time for the recordings to load - if all else fails email me at benjamin-hunnicutt@uiowa.edu and I will try sending them with email

Brother Ben: hope that you maintain at least of modicum of decorum as you celebrate your birthday. I trust that all goes well for you and Francine. I hope that your place in Asheville survived the storm. All good wishes, Calvin

Happy Birthday, friend Ben. I hope that Francine spoils you even more than usual today. After all, when you have been on the earth as long as we have, you deserve special treatment. I still have great memories of singing with you and Bob Denlinger and the other members of the Ensemble. Come see us when you want a Florida vacation. All good wishes, Calvin
